Which data belongs in a report?

Reported events, measurements, estimates, and forecasts

NOAA Storm Events supplies reported storm records. Coastal and river stations measure conditions at a named station. NASA POWER supplies gridded daily estimates. NWS supplies forecasts and active alerts. EKAS keeps these categories separate and identifies source dates, locations, units, and limitations.

Missing, delayed, or preliminary data

A missing value stays missing. An unavailable source is shown as unavailable. An empty search does not prove an event did not happen. Live lookups can be delayed, rate limited, corrected, or unavailable; consult official warning channels for safety decisions.
